3PL invoice audit

Terms of service

Version 2026-09-20. These terms apply when you use the site, whether you stop at the free audit or buy the report. The privacy policy is part of them.

1. The service

3PL invoice audit is operated by the operator of this site (“we”). You upload one invoice from your fulfilment provider (3PL) and, if you have them, your store’s orders export, your rate card and a product list. We extract the invoice’s lines, compare them with what shipped and with your agreed rates, and show you where the invoice differs, with the evidence for each finding. The free audit shows the findings on screen. The paid report is a document with every finding, its evidence and a claim letter you can send to your provider.

2. Who may use it

The site is for businesses that receive 3PL invoices, acting through people entitled to handle those invoices. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18, that you act for the business named on the invoice or with its authority, and that you may share the files you upload with us for this purpose. Temporary and disposable e-mail addresses are refused.

3. Your sign-in and your business record

There is no password. We e-mail you a link that works once and expires in 15 minutes; opening it signs you in for a while on that browser. Keep your mailbox secure — whoever can read it can open your links. On a company e-mail domain, every address on that domain shares one business record, its usage limits and its files; on a public mail provider each address is its own business. Usage limits (files per business, file size, pages, requests per day) are shown before you upload and may change.

4. The free audit

The free audit is offered at no charge, for a limited number of invoices per business, so that you can see whether the tool finds anything on your invoice. We may limit, pause or end the free audit at any time. Nothing is processed until you have confirmed your e-mail and chosen the invoice; nothing is charged unless you buy the report.

6. What the results are — and are not

Findings are produced by automated checks on the data you gave us. Each carries a confidence level and its evidence, and the free audit tells you which checks could not run on your files. The results are an aid to your own review, not an audit opinion, and not legal, accounting, tax or financial advice. We do not guarantee that a finding is correct, complete or recoverable, that your provider will accept a claim, or that we found every error. You decide what to claim and you remain responsible for your relationship with your provider.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or refuse service, and delete data, where we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

8. Your data and our work

Your files and the data in them remain yours. You grant us the right to store, read and process them only as needed to run the audit, produce the report and operate the site, for the periods in the privacy policy. If you left the “anonymised copy” box ticked, you also allow us to keep an anonymised version of the extracted invoice, as described there, to improve the tool. The site, its checks, its report design and its text are ours; you may use the reports and findings for your own business, including sending the claim letter to your provider.

9. Availability and changes

The site is provided as it is, without a promise of uninterrupted availability. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of it, including the free audit and the report, and we may change these terms; the version at the top changes when we do, and you accept the new text the next time you start an audit. Where a change reduces what you have already paid for, you are entitled to a refund of that purchase.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost recoveries or claims refused by your provider; and our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the site in a twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending the relationship

You can stop at any time and delete everything we hold for your business on the delete my data page; payment records are kept as accounting law requires, detached from your business. We may end or suspend your access for a breach of section 7. Sections 6, 8, 10 and 12 survive.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the place where the operator of this site is established, without prejudice to mandatory protections where you are established.
